Age Restriction Policy (21+)
https://shop.tokohookah.com sells tobacco products and smoking accessories. Access to these products is restricted by Indonesian law, and this policy explains how we apply that restriction.
1. Legal basis
Government Regulation No. 28 of 2024 (PP 28/2024), Article 434, prohibits the sale of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes to any person under 21 years of age and to pregnant women. The same article prohibits the sale of tobacco products through websites and commercial electronic applications unless age verification is in place.
We therefore sell only to customers who are 21 years old or older, and we verify age both at checkout and at handover.
2. Verification at checkout
Before an order can be placed you must tick a box confirming that you are at least 21 years old. The order cannot be submitted without this confirmation. Giving a false confirmation is a breach of our Terms & Conditions and grounds for cancelling the order.
3. Verification at delivery
- Our courier may ask the recipient for a valid photo ID (KTP, passport or driving licence).
- The order is handed over only to a person who is of legal age.
- If age cannot be verified, or the recipient appears to be under age and has no ID, the courier will not hand over the order.
- In that case the order is cancelled and the amount paid is refunded under our Refund & Return Policy.
4. Pregnant women
In line with PP 28/2024, we do not sell tobacco products to pregnant women.
5. Ordering for someone else
You may not order tobacco products for a person under 21. The person who places the order is responsible for making sure that the recipient is of legal age.
6. Marketing
We do not aim our website, our promotions or our social media content at minors, and we do not use imagery or messaging designed to appeal to them.
7. Health warning
Smoking, including water pipe (shisha) smoking, is harmful to health and causes addiction.
